Carlos is a Turks Islander, the Senior Partner of the Firm. Carlos graduated in law from City University, London before being called to the Bar of England and Wales as a member of Gray´s Inn in 1983. Following his time in the UK, Carlos returned to the Turks and Caicos Islands and has remained in practice with the Firm ever since.
Carlos has held many public service positions including Director, Financial Services Commission and Governor´s appointee to the House of Assembly. He is currently the President of the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar Association. In recognition of his services to the Islands he was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2002. Also in 2002 he was appointed Queen´s Counsel in recognition of his excellence as an advocate. Carlos currently also holds the positions of Notary Public and Justice of the Peace.

Tim is originally from Ireland where he obtained his legal education and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1979. In 1986 Tim moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands and in 1988 joined the Firm, then located in Grand Turk. Tim was called to the Bar of the Turks and Caicos Islands in 1986 and moved to Providenciales in 1990.
Tim is the Managing Partner of the Firm and responsible for its day to day operation and development. In addition he manages to find some time to practice law.
Tim has extensive, and arguably unrivaled, experience and expertise in the areas of tourism related property development and management. He has, over the years, represented and continues to represent the developers of many successful projects. In addition, where he does not represent the developer he is often preferred counsel for purchasers.
Tim also has an extensive banking practice. Tim is regularly involved, acting either for the bank or borrower, in substantial lending transactions, both domestic and multi-jurisdictional.

Adrian is originally from Northern Ireland and after obtaining his legal education in London, England was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1990, where he practiced law at a well-known law firm until he moved to the TCI in 1993. In 1999, Adrian became a Partner of the Firm.
Adrian is a Partner in the corporate department of Miller Simons O´Sullivan. His practice includes all aspects of corporate and commercial law and he also has a significant international captive insurance practice.
Adrian is well-versed in corporate and regulatory matters as it relates to insurance and reinsurance companies. He is currently the President of the TCI Association of Insurance Managers and a member of STEP. In addition Adrian is a former Director and the firm´s contact representative of the State Capital Group.
As a keen sports fan (and former Rugby player), Adrian helped establish the Turks & Caicos Islands Rugby Football Union. He is also an avid Tottenham Hotspur fan.

Neil is originally from England and after obtaining his Law Degree from the University of Birmingham was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales in 1990. Neil practiced in the UK until November 1994 when he moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands. Neil became a Partner of the Firm in April 1999.
Neil is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar Association.
Away from the office Neil is heavily involved in the administration and organization of football. He was one of the founders of the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association back in 1998. Neil has managed the National Team through three World Cup Qualifying Campaigns.

Stephen is originally from Liverpool, England and after obtaining his Law Degree from University College London attended the Inns of Court School of Law where he was awarded the Everard Ver Hayden prize for advocacy. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1990. After 11 years of successfully practicing as a barrister from chambers in London, where he specialised in civil and commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on employment law, Stephen moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands at the end of 2001 and was called to the Bar of the Turks and Caicos Islands in early 2002.
Stephen continues to specialise in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation including corporate insolvency matters. He has been involved in many of the Islands´ recent high profile cases involving developers, landowners and the Planning authorities. Stephen has a reputation for being aggressive as an opponent but highly approachable and user friendly to clients.
Stephen is a member of Inner Temple, the Bar of England and Wales, the Employment Law Bar Association and the Turks and Caicos Bar Association.
Outside work, Stephen is a keen sports fan and heavily involved in the organisation of TCIFA. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association.

Jonathan is originally from England and after obtaining his Law Degree was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1990. For the next 11 years he practiced from Barristers´ Chambers in Temple, London. During this time he undertook a wide variety of contentious and advisory work. Jonathan moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands in late 2001 and was called to the Turks and Caicos Islands bar in early 2002.
Although Jonathan was a full time barrister in England his practice in the Turks and Caicos is almost exclusively non-contentious. However, if required, he is in a position to represent clients where contentious issues or litigation arise from their transactions.
Jonathan remains a door tenant at Goldsmith Chambers, Temple, London and is a member of Gray´s Inn.
Jonathan is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the International Compliance Association.
Jonathan is also the current President of the Turks and Caicos Financial Industry Association.

Tony is originally from Canada. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba and a Law Degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, he was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1998. Tony subsequently became a member of the British Columbia Bar in 2001.
Having initially practiced in the areas of international human rights, immigration law and insurance litigation, Tony eventually shifted to a practice involving primarily business sales and acquisitions, franchise law, corporate law, and real estate conveyancing.
In 2004, Tony relocated to the Turks and Caicos Islands and was subsequently called to the Bar of the Turks and Caicos Islands. He currently operates a general commercial practice with an emphasis on resort development, business law, banking and finance, and real estate conveyancing.
Tony is fluent and has working ability in both French and English.

Laura is a Turks Islander and a Junior Associate in the firm. Laura graduated from Simmons College, in Boston, Massachusetts in 2004 with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Laura then attended The College of Law in London, England and completed her Graduate Diploma in Law followed by the Legal Practice Course.
Following her time in England Laura returned home to the Turks and Caicos Islands and immediately commenced work at Miller Simons O´Sullivan. Ian Miller, the founding partner of the firm is Laura´s father.
Laura was called to the Bar in Turks and Caicos in 2007. In 2008 Laura was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts in England and Wales.
Laura is a member of the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar Council and of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Laura is currently the Secretary of the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar Council.

Louise is a Turks Islander and a Junior Associate in the firm. Louise graduated from Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2003 with a degree in Political Science and French. Louise then obtained her Law Degree in 2006 at the University of Bristol in Bristol, England, followed by the Legal Practice Course at University of the West of England, Bristol.
Following her time in England Louise returned home to the Turks and Caicos Islands and immediately commenced work at Miller Simons O´Sullivan.
Louise was called to the Bar in Turks and Caicos in 2008. In 2009 Louise was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. In 2008 Laura was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in England and Wales.
Louise is a member of the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar Association and of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Louise is currently the Treasurer of the Bar Council of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Ian is originally from England, but having moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 1981 he now holds his Belongership in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Ian graduated in law from the College of Law, England before being called to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 1976. After being admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales Ian then went on to practice law in many diverse jurisdictions. Ian practiced law in Hong Kong and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong in 1979. After Hong Kong, Ian moved to the Cayman Islands and was admitted as an Attorney at Law of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in 1980. Ian moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 1981 and was admitted as an Attorney of the Turks and Caicos Islands in 1982.
When Ian moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 1981 he established the firm Miller Simons O´Sullivan and worked for eighteen years practicing law in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
During Ian´s practicing years he was a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and he also held various positions for the Bar Association of the Turks and Caicos Islands. In the early 1980´s Ian worked with a government committee drafting the first Insurance Ordinance in the islands. Ian was also involved in the establishment of captive and credit life insurance companies and with the formation of trusts for high net worth individuals
Ian retired from the firm in 1999 but remains an Of Counsel attorney.
Ian is a member of the Law Society in England, Hong Kong Law Society, Cayman Islands Law Society, Turks and Caicos Islands Bar Association, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Steve was born in Scotland, but grew up in Canada before moving to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2001. In his spare time Steve enjoys golfing and has been a member of the Turks and Caicos Islands National Golf Team.
Steve manages M&S Trust Company Limited and undertakes Trust Administration and Accounts, Investment Services and Escrow & Accounting Services.
Steve is a member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
